1. QFII（Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors）合格的境外机构投资者的英文简称，QFII机制是指外国专业投资机构到境内投资的资格认定制度。 QFII是一国在货币没有实现完全可自由兑换、资本项目尚未开放的情况下，有限度地引进外资、开放资本市场的一项过渡性的制度。这种制度要求外国投资者若要进入一国证券市场，必须符合一定的条件，得到该国有关部门的审批通过后汇入一定额度的外汇资金，并转换为当地货币，通过严格监管的专门帐户投资当地证券市场。
