1. This book is an excellent overview on basic concepts in Painting. It takes the reader through the pros & cons of Acrylic paint, colour mixing techniques, various brush & knife strokes, creating textures, a quick 30-min project, etc. Although the book lacks depth, I think its a great source of inspiration for a rookie to get started.I am an amateur photographer and I truly appreciate art in any form. Painting is an expression and an extension of one's self. This book has enough for me to hit the ground running.
