1. 无色易燃液体。有刺激性。密度0.807。折射率1.3646(19℃)。熔点-81℃。沸点47-49℃。溶于水,与乙醇和乙醚混溶。用于制合成树脂、橡胶促进剂和防老剂等。也可用作抗冻剂、润滑剂、脱水剂等。主要由乙烯经羰基合成,也可用重铬酸盐氧化正丙醇或将正丙醇蒸气在高温时通过铜催化剂而制得。
